Women Power!

I returned home early today.. My Aunt was home and we caught up over a coffee.. she started discussing her experiences today while interviewing potential canditates for JNV in the stream of Maths. After sometime, I thought of winding up "Dhobi Ghat", which i started watching on my way back from office (1.5hour long journey!), while sipping coffee. My Aunt started reading articles in the "Opportunities" section of Hindu newspaper. There was an article on "Women and her issues (Petty?!)". And we started discussing....

Women naturally tend to have emotional attachment to the people around, things and even day to day situations. Due to which there would be emotional conflicts for any decision to be made. In those dire straits, often we commit mistakes in choosing who to share our troubles with. Many a time we cry on the shoulders which are more to satiate your soul at that point of time rather than on those who show us the right path even if it is bitter. Unfortunately, there is no absolute solution to overcome the situation.

The article puts it as simple as....We would be able to benefit only when we ignore as much negativity as possible around you. For example, you have had an argument with your colleague, the best way to deal with it is either to confront and clarify right then and there or just ignore thinking about it. Ignorance is very much a bliss... but for that to happen, you need to choose the best of friends around who you can truly rely upon. And there are no hard and fast rules about how to choose friends. People with best of the friends are the most blessed ones. Women are exemplified for both Power and Vulnerability. In a male-dominated society, our judgement goes in choosing the right people around and which in turn can lead to our success.

Of late, I have been considering what is good and bad. This gets very relative when it comes to an individual. I may have high regard for someone I work with in office and rest of my friends don't like the person at all. How should I go about it? This can be very disturbing unless you are willing to forego your emotional barriers. And the best way i figured out is to have a deaf ear for these things... because if you really think about it, these are are the most irrelvant things that one can have in life... !!

Thanks to my work life, now i have my own anecdotes for anything that I read... Life gets very disturbing sometimes but it is the best teacher... learn from it...

In the end... an interesting quote from Sigmund Freud...

"The great question that has never been answered, and which I have not yet been able to answer, despite my thirty years of research into the feminine soul, is “What does a woman want?”

I would say... Let it be ;-)

Quote!

“Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.”

Hello there!

This blog was not my idea at all... This is just a result of one the patterns exuded by me during work hours... one of my colleagues was kind enough to observe the same and dazzle me with this idea!!

I reach office by 8:50am... actually my company bus takes me to office by then... most of my colleagues come only by 10:30am! So in the meantime I open my laptop, check emails and plan the day accordingly. I don't really complain going early in fact!

Whosoever comes between 9am and 10:30am would be my coffee guest. It so happens that I end up going with different folks everyday for coffee and chat different issues.

This blog would be citing those interesting conversations that I might encounter during those coffee breaks!

Check out for more gossips! :)
